The biggest environmental decision in conventional hard chrome plating is the chemistry itself. TripleHard® takes hexavalent chromium out of the process entirely, and the continuous line keeps what remains inside the machine. Below is what we do across Environment, Social and Governance, and how impact will be measured before any figure is published.

Environment

Cr(III) in place of Cr(VI).
Cr(VI) is a carcinogenic substance of very high concern under REACH. TripleHard® is a nickel and trivalent chromium (Cr(III)) coating made in a Cr(III) hard-chrome process: no chromic acid in the bath and no Cr(VI) chemistry for the people who run the line to handle.

A fully enclosed line.
Chemicals stay inside the machine. Splash, mist and emissions are contained, so the hall air stays clean and scrubbers are not required.

Less chemistry, less waste.
Automated dosing uses only what each part needs, and process water is recirculated instead of sent to treatment.
Impact methodology
How we will measure impact.
Impact figures are published only after they have been measured against a 2027 production baseline on the continuous line. Until then this page states the method, not the numbers: a published figure without a measurement behind it is worth nothing to the people who have to defend it in a supplier assessment.
